In the first few weeks of school, there were many Science inquiries that occurred in the classroom (Acorns, Worms, Snails, Oak Trees, and Leaves). Here are snapshots of some of the things the class talked and learned about while Mrs. Little was in the classroom. You can read the pictures with your children and ask them open-ended questions that would provide more detail. Open-ended questions are those that don't require a yes or no answer. Here are some you may ask:
- I just saw this picture of your class learning about acorns. Tell me where you saw acorns first.
- What do they look like?
- What do they feel like?
